Software Engineer (Unreal Engine / iOS)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Visa: Company-sponsored UAE residence visa

Employment: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer experienced in both real-time development and iOS application development. You will work across interactive systems built in Unreal Engine and professional applications built in Swift/SwiftUI within Xcode.

Responsibilities

  • Develop systems and features in Unreal Engine 5.6 (C++ & Blueprints)
  • Build and maintain iOS/macOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Integrate features with Supabase (auth, cloud data, storage)
  • Optimise performance for Apple Silicon devices
  • Maintain version control (Perforce + GitHub)

Requirements

  • Experience with Unreal Engine development
  • Experience building Apple apps in Swift/SwiftUI
  • Knowledge of cloud-connected apps
  • Strong understanding of Xcode workflows

About the Role

The Technical Artist ensures clean, stable asset workflows across all SurviveX DevStudio projects. You will support both artists and engineers by maintaining the Maya → Substance → Unreal pipeline and resolving any technical issues across assets and engine integration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Maya → Substance Painter → Unreal Engine pipeline
  • Fix export/import issues (scale, rigs, LODs, materials, collisions)
  • Assist artists with scene setup and optimisation
  • Ensure assets meet performance and naming standards
  • Maintain Perforce folder structure and project integrity

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Maya
  • Good understanding of Unreal Engine’s asset pipeline
  • Ability to troubleshoot materials, rigs, and LOD setups
  • Experience with Perforce
  • Clear, organised workflow habits

Character Artist

Location: Dubai, UAE

Visa: Company-sponsored UAE residence visa

About the Role

We are searching for a Character Artist who can create high-quality real-time characters using a full professional pipeline. This includes modelling, clothing, baking, texturing, and in-engine setup.

Responsibilities

  • Model high/low-poly characters in Maya 2026
  • Create clothing/fabric simulations in Marvelous Designer
  • Bake maps using Marmoset Toolbag
  • Texture characters in Substance 3D Painter
  • Import characters into Unreal Engine 5.6 (materials, skinning, LODs)
  • Meet performance targets for real-time projects

Requirements

  • Maya character modelling and UV experience
  • Experience with Marvelous Designer
  • Strong Toolbag baking workflow
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine character setup

Environment / Level Artist

About the Role

The Environment / Level Artist is responsible for building modular 3D environments, designing level layouts, and assembling complete real-time scenes. This role requires Houdini as a primary tool for world and level design, alongside Maya for asset creation and Unreal Engine for assembly and lighting.

Responsibilities

  • Model modular environment assets and props in Maya 2026.
  • Texture assets using Substance Painter.
  • Use Houdini as a primary tool for level and world design workflows (terrain, layout, world-building processes, level tools).
  • Build, dress, and light full environments inside Unreal Engine 5.6.
  • Create level blockouts and gameplay spaces using Houdini, Maya, Unreal, or Spline.
  • Produce UI layout sketches using Figma.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with environment modelling and PBR texturing.
  • Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine’s level-building and lighting tools.
  • Required: Houdini experience for world/level design.
  • Ability to create readable, gameplay-friendly layouts.
  • Experience with Perforce preferred.
